DAY 1. NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA
We will pick you up in Nairobi around 7am this morning and proceed on the scenic journey towards the Maasai Mara (approx. 5hr drive). We hope to reach our accommodation of Basecamp Adventure in time for lunch, a camp we use near Talek for it’s eco friendly and sustainable ethos. This afternoon we will head out for our first game drive of the safari. The Maasai Mara is a Big 5 National Game Reserve meaning it is home to all of the Big 5; Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo, although some of them are very hard to spot so what you see all depends on your luck on the day! We will return to camp this evening for dinner and overnight. Included meals: Lunch, Dinner
DAY 2. MAASAI MARA
Today we will head out into the Maasai Mara National Reserve for a full day game drive with packed lunches which we will enjoy later under a shady tree. We will have time to explore large areas of the reserve today and visit an area frequented by Hippos and Crocodiles before we return to our camp late this afternoon for dinner and overnight. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
DAY 3. MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
We will game drive out of the Masai Mara by 10am today. You will have the chance to participate in an optional activity this morning, such as the Masai village visit or nature walk, before we head back to Nairobi, where we expect to arrive by the late afternoon. Included meals: Breakfast
Price includes return Nairobi road transfers, game drives in a 4×4 safari jeep with either roof hatches or a pop-up roof for game viewing, two days park entry fees, two nights twin/double ensuite tented accommodation, all meals as shown in the itinerary, unlimited drinking water throughout the safari for clients who have a refillable water bottle.

DAY 1. NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Nairobi around 8am this morning and proceed on the scenic journey towards the Maasai Mara (approx. 5hr drive). We will have a lunch stop on route just before we enter the Maasai Mara for our first game drive of the safari. The Maasai Mara is a Big 5 National Game Reserve meaning it is home to all of the Big 5; Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo, although some of them are very hard to spot so what you see all depends on your luck on the day! We will game drive our way to our wild bush camp in the Sand River area of Maasai Mara which we will be our home for the next two nights. Our team will have prepared your camping tents with camp beds, mattresses and sleeping bags, and a bush toilet and shower. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner under the stars around the campfire with armed rangers nearby for our safety. Meals included: Lunch & Dinner
DAY 2. MAASAI MARA
Today we will wake up for an early morning game drive before returning to camp for breakfast. We’ll then head out for the rest of the day with a packed lunch which we will enjoy later under a shady tree. We’ll return to our bush camp in the late afternoon for a cup of tea or coffee and you will have some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings as the sun sets before dinner. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
DAY 3. MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI
This morning, after an early breakfast, we will have our final game drive on our way out of the Maasai Mara by 10am before we make our way back to Nairobi. There will be time for any optional activities you would like to do this morning before we return to Nairobi. Meals included: Breakfast

DAY 1. NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA NABOISHO CONSERVANCY
We will pick you up in Nairobi around 7am this morning for a taxi transfer to the Masai Mara (approx. 5hr drive). On arrival in Nkoilale, you will meet your guide from Basecamp Wilderness and proceed into the Naboisho Conservancy for lunch at camp. The camp is ideal for adventure travellers looking to partake in responsible tourism. It comprises of just 8 tents, each with a double or twin beds, which have an adjoining bio flush toilet and safari ‘bucket’ shower, and the whole camp runs on solar power. This afternoon you can partake in activities including day and night game drives or a guided bush walk. Meals included: Lunch, Dinner
DAY 2. MASAI MARA NABOISHO CONSERVANCY
Your stay at Basecamp Wilderness includes shared day and night game drives in the conservancy (game drives to the Masia Mara National Reserve available at additional cost), a guided bush walking safari, bush meals and sundowners, which can be enjoyed today. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
DAY 3. MASAI MARA NABOISHO CONSERVANCY TO NAIROBI
This morning you will depart camp after breakfast and be dropped back off in Nkoilale to meet with your taxi transfer back to Nairobi (approx. 5hr drive). Meals included: Breakfast

DAY 1. NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Nairobi around 8am this morning and make the journey by road to the Maasai Mara. On route we will descend down the Great Rift Valley escarpment where we can stop for photos, we should arrive at Semadep Mara Camp in time for lunch. After lunch this afternoon you will have the opportunity to head out on foot for a Masai guided nature walk where our local Maasai guides can explain to you about their traditional uses for certain trees and plants in their medicine and you can look out for signs of wildlife. You will return to camp later this afternoon for dinner and overnight. L,D
DAY 2. MAASAI MARA BUSH CAMPING
This morning we will enter the Maasai Mara reserve for an exciting day of game driving and a night of bush camping in the wild! We will do our game drive and have a picnic lunch later under a shady tree today. The Maasai Mara is a Big 5 National Reserve meaning it is home to all of the Big 5, Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. Although some of them are very hard to spot so what you see all depends on your luck on the day! Late this afternoon we will game drive our way to our bush camp close to Sand River. Here there are no facilities and no fences, just the wild. Our team will have prepared you two man camping dome tents with camp beds and sleeping bags and there will be a short drop toilet available. Our chef will be busy in his mobile kitchen whipping you up a delicious dinner which we will enjoy under the stars by the campfire tonight. B,L,D
DAY 3. MAASAI MARA
We’ll have an early start today as we wake up for an early morning game drive before returning to camp for breakfast. We’ll then head out for the rest of the day with a packed lunch which we will enjoy later under a shady tree. Late this afternoon we will leave the reserve and head out for a traditional Masai BBQ dinner before returning to Semadep Mara Camp to overnight. B,L,D
DAY 4. MAASAI MARA HOMESTAY
After a leisurely breakfast today, we will head to a local Maasai homestay for lunch and overnight. Here you will have the opportunity to experience the real life Maasai culture and their day to day activities as you learn all about their traditions and beliefs. Activities may include herding, fetching firewood, milking, beading and visiting a traditional village boma and school during term time. B,L,D
DAY 5. MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI VIA NAIVASHA
Today we will head to Naivasha for lunch and a boat trip on the lake for approximately 1 hour before proceeding to Nairobi. Lake Naivasha is famous for a wide variety of bird life including the African Fish Eagle and is also home to many Hippos. After the boat trip we will return to Nairobi where we should arrive in the late afternoon/early evening depending on traffic. B,L
